Of course that number is “closed” and to call back during “normal” business hours. (I was on a landline.) Next, the tech “support” finally told me to call a different number for the security cameras. Setting up/or resetting the camera is a huge problem.įirst when calling the Samsung phone number that is listed on their website, the person answering does not understand what you’re asking about and repeatedly saying the wrong product. Setting this camera is ridiculously poor and I’m a computer tech/teacher. Spontaneously lost connection & won’t reconnect Samsung has to step up on their game to fix these problems. It failed to pick up the-above-mentioned motions as well. This can be a major problem for those that use this system for security reasons.īy the way, since I still have the old app on my phone, I went and checked it. So, users beware - no recorded motion doesn’t mean no motion at all. However, the system shows no motion in its list of recordings at all. On two occasions last night, the motion-activated lights that I separately set up went on. Three, I just realized the serious failure of this system in picking up motion. This can be a major frustration for the ones that are many miles away and was hoping this system would provide a way to monitor, say, their senior parents.
I’d have to unplug and replug the camera for it to reset.
Two, sometimes, the camera is not accessible at all. One, it will sometimes be disconnected from the camera, which usually takes getting out of it before attempting to get in again. It is buggy though - not an improvement from the old app.
I thought the new app is easier to check all recordings as both audio and video ones are listed on one screen. Buggy with recent major failure to pick up motions
